LT Jason Thomas Wathen, USN (Ret)
Jason Thomas Wathen, 49, of Stamford, CT, formerly of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020.
He was born September 8, 1971 in Louisville to Thomas A. Wathen and the late Bonnie Wright Desjardens
Jason was a 1989 graduate of DeSales High School, and graduate of the Naval Academy with specialty in Nuclear engineering. He was also a graduate of the University of Chicago with a master's in business. After retiring from the Navy, he became the managing director and investment partner at Blue Harbor Group and COO of Revolutionary Integration Group Inc. Jason was also president of the Connecticut Chapter of the Navy League.
He is survived by his father, Thomas A.; children, Moira, and Liam Wathen of Stamford; Erin Wathen, mother of his children, and his sister, Kimberly Oliver and her husband Abdelkhalek Massaoudi of Louisville, KY.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Ratterman Funeral Home, 3711 Lexington Road, St. Matthews.
