Thank you for the many years of support as I have served as our Class secretary and Corresponding Secretary for Shipmate. Once again, I am seeking re-election for another term.

I am originally from Las Cruces, New Mexico and attended the New Mexico Military Institute in 1988-1989 while simultaneously serving in the Army National Guard where I attended Airborne School prior to my appointment to the Academy. While at the academy, I actively participated in the Airborne Training Unit and ran track.

I was commissioned in the Marine Corps following graduation. After attending The Basic School (TBS) in Quantico, I went to follow-up training in Ft Bliss, TX, and transferred to the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing in Okinawa, Japan, where I served as a platoon commander and aide-de-camp. Following my assignment to Japan, I was selected as a candidate for the Naval Flight Officer (NFO) program. While in Pensacola, I took the opportunity to transfer into the Communications & Information Systems Field. I moved back to Quantico where I worked for the Marine Corps Network Operations Center and Chief Information Officer at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps. Following this assignment, I transferred to Kansas City where I was responsible for a $100M software development program for Defense Finance & Account Service. I left active duty in 2001 and continued to serve in the Marine Corps Reserves until 2006.

Since leaving active duty, I have worked for RWD Technologies, Sprint, Firemon, Payless ShoeSource, Waddell & Reed, Hewlett Packard, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Micro Focus where I served in leadership and executive positions in technology and cybersecurity.

I have always enjoyed keeping in touch with everyone and spreading "the word." I recently re-married and have five children from my first marriage. I live in Leawood, Kansas, a suburb in the Kansas City metro area.
