CAPT Colleen Salonga has a BS in Economics from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from The George Washington University and an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College. She also attended the Stanford Business School Executive Training Program and the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill Advanced Program in Logistics and Technology.
CAPT Salonga's operational assignments include supply officer tours on USS BUTTE (AE-27), USS GONZALEZ (DDG-66), and USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN-71); Schedules and Replenishment Officer for Commander, Logistics Forces NAVCENT/Commander, Task Force 53 (CTF-53) in Bahrain; and Deputy Commander for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Support Team in Afghanistan.
Her shore assignments include logistics assignments at the Naval Sea Systems Command; Chief of Naval Operations, Spares Program and Policy Branch (OPNAV N412); Services and Quality of Life Officer for Commander in Chief, Atlantic Fleet (CINCLANTFLT); Director of the H-60 Program, Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP); Executive Assistant for the Director of DLA; and Chief of Naval Operations, Combat Logistics Programs and Policy Branch (OPNAV N424). She is currently assigned to the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office as the Director of Supply Chain Management supporting over 300 aircraft and 12 countries. She will retire in Sep 2018.
Colleen has completed six marathons, volunteers at Miriam’s Kitchen, and is a member of the Junior League of Washington D.C. - an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community.
